Laura and Chris get hitched!

While we couldn't make it out to Oklahoma for the actual nuptials, Heath and I were happy to make the drive down to South Bend to celebrate with Laura and Chris at a small reception at St. Mary's College near Notre Dame.

Laura is part of Heath's program at Notre Dame and they are both working with Mark Noll. We also got to see other friends from the history graduate student pool, including Lauren, Myles, Dixie, Matt, and Andrea.

It was a blast! A big hug and congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Porter!
