Adam Turns 28...

...and it seems fitting that we would toast him with a new Chicago brew: Half Acre. We met up with the Phillips and the Johnsons at Sheffield's and had some great food and good beer. Two especially notable treats of the evening: Sarah baked a fantastic chocolate/coffee cake—YUM!—and Phil (the guy that buys beers for Sheffield's and is a friend of Aaron and Lenore's) let us taste this older version of Goose Island's Bourbon County Stout that was (no joke) labeled "do not sell." It was very tasty.
